Acevedo and Rohn Repeat As Award Winners - November 21, 2014
HOLLY, Mich. – The individual awards were spread out among four teams as the 2014 All-ICAA Volleyball squad was released, Friday evening. The ICAA volleyball members are Cal State San Marcos, Concordia-Irvine, Concordia-Portland, Embry Riddle (Fla.), Palm Beach Atlantic, Oakland City, Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Wesleyan. The team was picked by ICAA Coordinator Mike Bond
Coach of the year was Trevor Johnson of Concordia-Irvine. The Eagles went 31-2 to win the ICAA championship. Johnson is 58-5 in two years at UCI.
Player of the Year, for the second straight year, was Faith Rohn of Palm Beach Atlantic. Rohn, an outside hitter, averaged 3.95 kills and 3.11 digs per set with 32 service aces over 105 sets.
Libero of the Year was Hannah Gray of Embry Riddle. She averaged 6.08 digs per set over 101 sets and totaled 614 digs on the season.
Setter of the Year, for the third time, went to Becca Acevedo of Palm Beach Atlantic. She averaged 11.74 assists, 2.10 digs and 0.27 service aces per set over 105 sets.
Freshman of the Year was Lindsey Dorsey of Concordia-Portland. The outside hitter averaged 3.17 kills and 0.56 blocks over 88 sets and hit .271.

HOLLY, Michigan – Brianna Hogan (Concordia-Portland) and Hannan Gray (Embry Riddle (Fla.) have been named the ICAA Player and Libero of the Week. This is the fifth time that Gray has been honored.
Hogan, a junior from Portland, Ore., averaged 3.29 kills over seven sets with 13 blocks and hit .444 in leading CP to a 2-0 record. She had 12 kills against College of Idaho (Oct. 24) and 11 kills and nine blocks versus Eastern Oregon (Oct. 25).
Gray, a senior from Orange City, Fla., averaged 5.88 digs over eight sets in leading ER to a 2-0 record. She had 32 digs against St. Thomas (Oct. 24) and 15 versus Florida Memorial (Oct. 25).
